YEAR OF DISASTERS

TWENTY ELEVEN

We choke on the poison, In water and the sky,
When Japan rector did blow, Many people did then die.
We did not do much, No country can be proud,
There was barely an act, We can shout out loud.

We allowed the death penalty, On the dictator of Iraq,
Yet our laws don't allow, All a mess looking back.
We did not do anything, No country can be proud,
There was barely an act, We can shout out loud.

We see all the children, Shot down in a camp,
No reason for this given, I need to be frank.
We did not do enough, No country can be proud,
There was barely an act, We can shout out loud.

We vote in an election, But a coalition is set,
Cut only to the poor, The riots we then get.
We did not do right, No country can be proud,
There was barely an act, We can shout out loud.

We allowed the bad credit, The bankers are just fine,
So many now are ruined, Whilst they drink their wine.
We did not do something, No country can be proud,
There was barely an act, We can shout out loud.

We did not do anything, No country can be proud,
There was barely an act, We can shout out loud.
We say a good-bye, Year of disasters and pain,
And hope that the next, Wont again be the same.
