On the eleventh day, we do so remember,
The city that burned, this day in September.
A Symbol to all, crashed to the ground,
Killing those who inside, and many from around.
The horror to tell, planes did so smash,
Towers that did fall, a nation did crash.
So many so innocent, lost lives that day,
Include a dear friend, who was on holiday.
No matter the cause, ten years now past,
Collapse of the towers, the shadow it cast.
United are we all, as we stand together,
All faiths and religions, let peace last forever.
