366@40 Day 362 010512

Roads more like rivers,
Force of the rain,
The sound it makes,
As goes down drain.

Grass more like mud,
Swamped by the rain,
Yet another day arrives,
It's still the same.

Streams more like torrents,
Swelled by the rain,
The speed it moves,
Like an oncoming train.

Ponds more like lakes,
Expanded by the rain,
The fact it keeps growing,
Is becoming a pain.

Country more like ocean,
Covered by the rain,
The hose-pipe ban,
Continues all the same!
