The Candle Doth Burn

The candle doth burn, and consume the names,
Of those that hurt, now within the flames.
The candle flame flickers, the smoke does rise,
Of those that hurt, and that do despise.

The candle doth burn, removes all the pain,
From those that hurt, that leave a stain.
The candle flame dances, as the hurt is resolved,
From those that hurt, the problem is solved.

The candle doth burn, the wounds do heal,
Of those that hurt, I no longer feel.
The candle flame dims, as thy foe depart,
Of those that hurt, now a distance apart.

The candle doth burn, the air is clean,
From those that hurt, that can be seen,
The candle flame gone, release from the pain,
From those that hurt, can feel happy again.
