Field Mouse

A small donation will help to keep my poetry FREE!

Our little rodent friend

There was a field mouse,
Who lives in the corn,
Stays out all day long,
Since the day was born.

Finding food and having fun,
Running from here to there,
Stay away from the birds,
The big cats that dare.

A clever little field mouse,
Who lives his life well,
Sleeps with one eye open,
Because you never can tell.
