Day 96 090811 366@40

On a gothic church,
They stand out proud,
Keep out evil spirits,
The demons not allowed.

Mixed with the angels,
And windows so stained,
Protect from evil spirits,
It was so ordained.

On these lovely buildings,
The grotesque is there,
Carved as a mockery,
Giving evil a scare.

Mixed with the gargoyles,
And tower so tall,
The protection it brings,
To congregation and all.

Mistook as a gargoyle,
But no water spout,
Keep out non believers,
What they were about.

Mixed with the cross,
On roof up high,
Protect from non believers,
They walk on by.
