A lasting tribute to leave,
For the love that's lost,
One written down in words,
Or built at great cost.

Those of a great wealth,
Build in brick and stone,
Like a family grave plot,
Or in field on own.

The mausoleum on the hill,
Standing proud and so true,
Behind a shield of trees,
Like you want it too.

A lasting tribute to find,
For lives gone too quick,
With power of the pen,
Or built large in brick.
