DAY 48 366@40

The longest of days, and shortness of night,
Least amount of dark, we'll bathe in light.
Cold days of winter, at midsummer we forget,
Warmth from the sun, welcome what we get.

The sun so strong, appears to stand still,
Ancients to guide us, celebrate at our will.
Glow all around us, midsummer has now begun
The great summer solstice, with rise of the sun.

The longest of days, the brightness of light,
Life from the sun, which does shine bright.
Warm days of summer, at midsummer we believe,
Marvel at life given, air that we breathe.

H Mann all downhill from now then!!! really nice poem
