Reflections in the puddles

The people walk past,
With brollies held high,
People run for shelter,
Rain falls from sky.

Reflections in the puddles,
Do sway and dance,
And they would escape,
Given half a chance.

The cars travelling by,
Wipers on full power,
Whilst the tyres grip,
In this rain shower.

Reflections in the puddles,
Do sway and dance,
And they would escape,
Given half a chance.

The buildings that stand,
With lights shining bright,
Whilst rain keeps falling,
Day through to night.

Reflections in the puddles,
Do sway and dance,
And they would escape,
Given half a chance.
