Riverbank

Day 66 366@40

The sun shines down,
Warmth on my Skin,
Walk down the riverbank,
Story now does begin.

The birds fly high,
Soar in the air,
Walk down the riverbank,
Did get me there.

The duck swims along,
With young close behind,
Walk down the riverbank,
Things I did find.

Hare in the field,
Just stopped to look,
Walk down the riverbank,
My time I took.

The sound of crickets,
In the tall grass,
Walk down the riverbank,
Thing's I did pass.

Fish in the water,
Swim fast and slow,
Walk down the riverbank,
Soon time to go.

The sun shines still,
On us my friend,
Walk down the riverbank,
Should never ever end.
