Driving in an electrical storm

Rain cascades on my wind-shield,
As yet another lightening flash,
The wipers move ever faster,
As the thunder does crash.

Rain free flowing on streets,
A river in full flow,
The tyres do still grip,
Into the storm we go.

Rain illuminated by the storm,
The lightening is all around,
The car shudders yet again,
To the booming thunder sound.

Rain comes down so fast,
The wipers on full speed,
So dangerous to be driving,
Unless there's a great need.

H Mann scary eh! good poem
