Words and Deeds Unsaid

There is not always a tomorrow

Don't put off words, if it needs said,
Never leave the book, at only half read.
A script so unwritten, the acts never played,
What might have been, if only you stayed.

Don't put off deeds, if they need done,
Never leave a party, if your having fun.
The music's not here, but play's so loud,
What might have been, if you were allowed.

Don't put off words, if it needs said,
Never leave an argument, then go to bed.
Scenes are left out, the story is broken,
What might have been, if only I'd spoken.

Don't put off deeds, if they need done,
Never leave a film, that has just begun.
Life is your story, play out every word,
Make sure it completes, and you are heard.

Don't put off words, if it needs said,
Never leave the line, only in your head.
Life is never complete, words left are unsaid,
What might have been, the book left unread.

L Walsdorf well said & a good point :-)
S Walker wonderful reminder!
H Mann yes well said and sadly it's something we don't aways do for each other
